About this Project

As part of the Beyond project, my team and I developed VolumeFriend, an innovative solution to reduce noise in school libraries. This project took us through the complete design process, from initial research to final implementation, focusing on creating a practical and effective solution for maintaining quiet study environments.

Development Process

The project began with extensive research into noise management in educational environments. We conducted interviews with students and library staff to understand their needs and challenges. Based on this research, we developed multiple prototypes, testing each iteration with users to refine the solution. The final implementation focused on creating an intuitive and effective system for monitoring and managing noise levels in libraries.
